O what a day, November 2nd, 1990.
My sister was born, one of world’s finest, but fattest baby.
My parents could attest, they were both blessed and distressed.
Crying and crying, but their daughter nonetheless.
She adored her father and mother, more than anything
Even made a girl bawl, bragging,
“My mom is better than your mom.”
She is right our mom is pretty bomb
O what a day, December 30th, 1995
I was born, the world’s finest and normal baby arrives.
My sister can confess, she was both obsessed and depressed.
A baby brother, competition, but also some toy to dress
From plaid dresses, pipe cleaner glasses, to oversized shoes,
She did it all. I was the canvas, I was the muse.
From ups and downs, smiles and frowns, you were there,
A second mother, my partner in crime, my best friend.
Through thick and thin, you’ve always been like a mother bear.
And you will always be that to me, up until the very end.
Even though at times I was a bothersome brother (as they should)
I always looked up to you, I always kept trying to be in your shoes.
I keep running, but I only get to where you once stood.
You will and already do great things, no matter what path you choose.
Now, Rob, I never thought my sister would ever date.
In fact, my parents didn’t even know if she was straight.
I never thought there would be a man that could
I never thought there would be a man that would.
But here we are, Rob Wu
You did the impossible. You woo Min-Joo.
And I can’t but applaud you.
But be warned, she loves to dress you up, pretend you’re her toy
So much so that you might question if you are even a boy.
She is fierce, sometimes crazy, and no one can stop her,
And so, I say, “Good luck monsieur.”
Rob, when I heard and saw you took care of my sister
I thought of you as a brother from another mother
In the past, figuratively,
but now quite literally.
And so I entrust to you, my yae-yae,
My second mother, my partner in crime, my best friend.
Take care of each other up until the very end.

A new chapter, so much in the unforeseen
Rob and Min-Joo, I hope the best for you two.
Stay strong, stay true, and know we are always beside you.
I do not know what the future brings,
But I am sure it has great and happy things.
O What a Day, the start of this union of heart.
